Tactics Training

Hey all,
I plan on posting some general tips every day so that you all can continue your improvement. The first thing that I suggest is that you all practice some tactical problems daily, for at least 30 minutes. This will keep your tactical vision strong and help you remember patterns. Chesstempo.com is a great site for this (they give free tactics training) and chess.com has a tactics trainer as well!

Good luck and Good chess,
Eric

  1. Hey Pawn!

Nice blog you have here, clean and easy on the eyes. :D I've just finished my projects with Chess.com so I'm back to chess blogging now...it's great to see a buddy who's also into it.

Now, as for your post, if I may add, the daily tactics drill should be concentrated on BASIC, EASY-TO-REMEMBER, and TYPICAL tactics and combination patterns.

Save the Tal-like combos later in the day. :D

Looking forward to your posts man! Keep it up.
